The Arts & Crafts Center at Scott Air Force Base is more than a hobby shop—it’s a full-service creative hub for military members, families, and civilians with base access. Located in Building 1989 on Ward Drive, this award-winning facility is run by the 375th Force Support Squadron and offers a wide range of hands-on services and creative resources for every age and skill level.
Whether you’re looking to design custom picture frames, engrave a plaque, explore woodworking, or just enjoy a relaxing art class, the Scott AFB Arts & Crafts Center has something for you. The facility includes a custom frame shop, engraving services, woodworking shop, and even supports auto hobbyists with vehicle maintenance bays. It also hosts seasonal events, workshops, and open houses throughout the year, making it a central part of base life and community engagement.
The center is also home to the Scott AFB Car Wash and a GSA vehicle servicing area, giving patrons access to practical services alongside their creative projects. Open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., it’s a convenient stop for everything from last-minute gifts to long-term projects.
Recognized by Air Mobility Command for exceptional customer service, the Arts & Crafts Center welcomes approximately 50 visitors a day and plays a key role in boosting morale and creativity on base.
