The My Scott AFB Service Excellence Award

This prestigious award is presented annually to one enlisted member from each branch of the Armed Services—Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force—as well as a member from the National Guard. Recipients are celebrated for their exemplary achievements in the following sectors:

  1. Leadership Excellence: Recognizing on-duty accomplishments that set the individual apart.
  2. Community Engagement: Honoring off-duty efforts that make a positive difference in civilian communities.

Eligibility Criteria

The award is open to all active-duty, Reserve, and National Guard enlisted members who have a minimum of one year of obligated service remaining after December 30, the award nomination deadline. Previous recipients of the My Scott AFB Service Excellence Award are not eligible.

Selection Guidelines

Nominees are chosen based on their outstanding leadership and mission-related achievements that set them apart from their peers. Furthermore, any volunteer activities or significant contributions made in civilian communities will also be weighed. We encourage nominations that reflect the diverse communities we proudly serve.
